Cleaning and Maintenance

Cleaning and Maintenance

1.) Daily Wear

  • To avoid dust and friction between jewelry pieces, store them in their original packaging when not in use, and keep them in a cool, dry place.
  • Remove jewelry when bathing, exercising, soaking in hot springs, sleeping, or coming into contact with seawater to prevent pressure, collision, or accumulation of sweat and dirt in the crevices, which can cause metal oxidation, detachment, and deformation.
  • Avoid pulling, pressing, or rubbing jewelry vigorously. Although the metal has some elasticity, repeated bending can cause metal fatigue, leading to significant wear, deformation, and breakage.

2.) General Storage and Cleaning

  • To prevent dust and oxidation, store jewelry in a box when not in use and keep it in a cool, dry place.
  • For general cleaning, wipe with a soft cloth dampened with water, then dry before storing in the box.

3.) 9K and 14K Gold Products

Our products are made from precious metals (9K or 14K), not plated, so they are hypoallergenic and less prone to oxidation. Maintenance is straightforward; use a jewelry polishing cloth or a toothbrush with warm water to gently brush the metal surface to maintain its beautiful shine.

4.) Cubic Zirconia

Cubic zirconia is a natural mineral with high refractive index and excellent durability. If it looks cloudy due to oils or dirt from contact with the skin, gently wipe the surface with a jewelry polishing cloth, or use dish soap with warm water and a toothbrush to brush the surface lightly, then dry to restore its original luster.

5.) Pearls

Pearls are organic gemstones and require careful handling. When wearing pearls, ensure that you put them on after dressing, applying perfume, cosmetics, lotion, hairspray, or hair care products. For cleaning, use a jewelry polishing cloth to wipe away oils and sweat, or gently wipe with a soft cloth dampened with water. For storage, keep pearls in their original packaging to avoid friction with other jewelry or collision with sharp objects.

Additionally, do not wear pearl jewelry while bathing, swimming, soaking in hot springs, or engaging in sauna activities.

6.) Diamonds

Diamonds have a Mohs hardness of 10, making them one of the hardest substances in the world, both precious and rare. However, even hard diamonds should avoid direct impact with sharp objects to prevent fine scratches. Store jewelry in its original packaging when not in use for good preservation. If diamonds look cloudy due to oils or dirt from contact with the skin, gently wipe the surface with a jewelry polishing cloth, or use dish soap with warm water and a toothbrush to brush the surface lightly, then dry to restore their original brilliance.

7.) Enamel

When wearing enamel jewelry, avoid collision and pressure that may cause enamel breakage, and avoid wearing it while bathing, swimming, soaking in hot springs, or engaging in sauna activities. For cleaning, gently wipe with a jewelry polishing cloth or wash with clean water and mild soapy solution and dry. For storage, place in the original packaging to avoid friction with other jewelry, keep it in a dry place, and away from heat sources.
